Lu Jing is currently Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, President, Doctor of Science, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of Shanghai Maritime University.
He successively served as Deputy Director of the Chemistry Department, Deputy Director and Director of the Academic Affairs Office of Fudan University, Vice President and Dean of the Graduate School of East China Normal University, Deputy Director of the Shanghai Education Commission, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the Shanghai Institute of Technology, Deputy Secretary of the Shanghai Education and Health work of CPC Committee, Director of the Shanghai Education Commission, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Shanghai Maritime University.
Lu Jing is currently a representative of the 15th People's Congress of Shanghai. He is also the Vice Chairman of the Chemistry Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education, the National School Inspector, the Executive Director of the China Association of Higher Education, and the Vice President of the Shanghai Association of Higher Education. He has been engaged in physical chemistry teaching, theoretical chemistry research and higher education management for a long time. He presided over the key projects and Surface projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, the projects funded by the Ministry of Education for leading teachers in colleges and universities, the “Teaching practice of cultivating innovative talents in Chemistry” of the Ministry of Education, the “Exploration and Practice on the training mode of science compound talents in Research Universities “, and Shanghai Dawn Program and other research projects. He has more than 30 research papers and more than 20 teaching papers in academic journals published at home and abroad, and participated in the compilation of four teaching materials and teaching reference books. He enjoys the special government allowance of the State Council and has been awarded the honors of Shanghai Outstanding Teacher, Shanghai Famous Teacher, Shanghai “My Favorite Teacher”, Shanghai Outstanding Young Teacher in Higher Education, Baosteel Outstanding Teacher Award, etc. He won the National Teaching Achievement Award twice and the Shanghai Excellent Teaching Achievement Award seven times.
