Mo Jianhui is a professor level senior engineer, President and Deputy Secretary of the Party committee of China Classification Society. He was born in November 1961. He is Han nationality, and a CPC member.
From 1982 to 2002, he successively served in Guangzhou Ship Inspection Bureau, Ship Inspection Bureau of Ministry of Transport and Guangzhou Branch. From 2002 to May 2019, he served as vice president, president, chief engineer and member of the Party committee of China Classification Society. From May 2019 to now, he has served as president and Deputy Secretary of the Party committee of China Classification Society.
Since 1997, he has served as a member of the Inspection, reporting and Certification working Group (SRC) of the International Association of Classification Societies (IACS), a member of the Comprehensive Policy Committee (GPG) of the International Association of Classification Societies (IACS), Chairman of the Recognized Organization Code (SG/RO code) Group of the International Association of Classification Societies(IACS), and the manager of the IACS Common Structural Rules project team, of which he served as the Chairman of the IACS Comprehensive Policy Committee(GPG) from 2006 to 2007. From 2011 to 2013, he participated in the development project of key technologies and related specifications of offshore mobile platform and the research on offshore oil safety supervision system. He was Chairman of the Executive Committee of the association of Asian Classification Societies (ACS) in 2018. Since 2019, he has been the member of the ACS Executive Committee, IACS Council, Strategic Steering Committee and Quality Policy Group.
