Notice on Designating 25 Units as National Marine Science Popularization Education Base by CIN

To all relevant units：
We are pleased to inform you that after a thorough review and subsequent approval by the 49th Council Meeting of the China Institute of Navigation(CIN), and publicity for social supervision. A total of 25 units, inclusive of Zhejiang Ocean University have now been designated as National Maritime Science Popularization Education Bases.
We will provide each of the 25 designated units with a certificate and plaque for the "National Maritime Science Popularization Education Base." These certificates and plaques will be uniformly produced by our institute and the titles will remain valid for 5 years.
We kindly request that the 25 science popularization education bases, in accordance with the provisions of the Management Measures for Navigation Science Popularization Education Bases of CIN, fully leverage their service advantages, resource strengths, and unique roles, and actively engage in effective maritime science popularization education activities for the benefit of society and the general public. Your efforts will contribute to promoting the spirit of navigation, enhancing maritime science's influence, and improving the scientific literacy of our citizens.
This notice is hereby issued.
