Notice on the Collection of Commonweal Posters of the 2023 China National Maritime Day With The Theme Of “Sail For The Belt And Road And Create A New Pattern”
To fully implement Xi Jinping’s Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the guiding principles of the 19th CPC National Congress, Our focus is on promoting development achievements and exemplary individuals, carrying forward the spirit of maritime navigation in the new era, and disseminate nautical and ocean culture. In addition, We aim to accelerate the construction of robust transportation and the building of a maritime power, expedite the creation of positive public opinion to propel the construction of the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road. Under the direction of the Ministry of Transport, the CIN and China Communications Newspaper Office jointly initiate the collection and exhibition of commonweal posters of 2023 China National Maritime Day.

Ⅲ. Theme
This activity is guided by Xi Jinping’s Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, led by the core socialist value with the theme of “Sail for the Belt and Road and Create a New Pattern”. Through the design, collection, selection, and exhibition of the commonweal posters, we aim to highlight the nautical e spirit of our cadres and masses, disseminate knowledge of navigation sciences, and enhance national maritime consciousness while intriguing the teenagers’ interests and enthusiasms in nautical careers.
The themes are extensive, including the 10th anniversary of proposal for the Belt and Road Initiative and the 50th anniversary of China's accession to the International Maritime Organization, showing the new images and spirit of the CPC and our country in the new era. Additionally, the development of China's maritime industry can also be a theme, which highlights its confidence, self-strengthening, dedication, and positive spirit of the new era.

We cardinally invite individuals, organizations and units to to participate in the activity according to the following rules:
Ⅴ. Requirements
1. Format of Works
The works should be in the form of posters, either single posters or series posters are acceptable, with a clear and creative theme, innovative concepts in vibrant colors, showing inspirational significance, and aesthetic value.
2. Specifications of Works
The posters should center on the ships and naval ships provided by the organizing committee. As regards series posters, works should be uploaded in ZIP file or RAR file. The font used in the posters should be Fangzheng or other free commercial fonts. A brief introduction of the works should be filled out in the Registration Form for Entries, highlighting the unique points and creative elements in the following two types:
a) PG or PNG format with a vertical dimension, 1024×1646PX or a horizontal dimension, 1646×1024PX in RGB, 72 resolution. The file size should not exceed 3MB for single works or 15MB for a series of works.
b) PSD or AI format with a horizontal dimension, 1920×1080mm or a vertical dimension, 600×900mm in CMYK, 300 resolution. The file size should not exceed 100MB for single works or 500MB for series of works.
3. Originality and Copyright
(1) Participants must be the original copyright owners of their entries with no infringement of the legitimate rights and interests of third parties, such as portrait rights, reputation rights, privacy rights, copyrights, trademark rights, etc.
(2) If the entries are collaborative works, each co-author must participate as participants and jointly carry out legal responsibilities.
(3) Participants should take full responsibility for any legal disputes related to the entries in this activity.
(4) The copyright of the selected outstanding works belongs to the organizer.
(5) The organizer reserves the final explanation right of the activity.
Ⅵ. Methods of Participation
1. Email Submission
Participants can directly send their entries tozghhr2023@zgjtb.comwith a screenshot of the poster font.
2. Submission Format
Participants should fill out the Registration Form for Entries (see the attachment) to provide real personal information such as name and contact information for further communication and display of the works. Please name the email’s subject as "Title of the Work + Participant's Name + Contact Information" For example: "China Maritime Day + Zhang San + 188XXXXXXXX."
VII. Work Selection and Exhibition
Several outstanding works will be selected and awarded certificates to the authors. The selected works will be displayed offline and simultaneously on various media platforms such as the Learning Power, and China Transport News website(https://www.zgjtb.com/).
