Notice on Soliciting Papers for International Maritime Science and Technology Congress 2023

All the organizers, all the member units, all the local institute of navigation, all the professional committees and the national nautical science and technology workers of the Congress:
In order to promote the international exchange and cooperation of intelligent navigation science and technology, CIN will co-host the International Maritime Science and Technology Congress 2023 with Shandong Association for Science and Technology, China Centre for International Science and Technology Exchange, China Cosco Shipping Group and Shandong Port Group. The conference will be held in LOSUNG of Qingdao in mid to late October, with the theme of “Intelligent Shipping Technology and Development Trend”. The conference will consist of a main forum and sub-forums in the field of related technologies about smart shipping, where global smart shipping experts and technology pioneers will be invited to deliver authoritative speeches. Participants can visit the MASS Operation Control Center, intelligent container port area and the exhibition of intelligent shipping technology progress and achievements in China and abroad.
The organizing committee of the International Maritime Science and Technology Congress 2023 is soliciting Papers from home and abroad, and papers that pass the preliminary examination (shortlisted papers) will be invited to participate in the conference and give presentations or poster presentations. The details of soliciting papers are as follows:
I. Direction of soliciting papers:
1. Intelligent technology of ship navigation
2. Port intelligent technology
3. Intelligent technology of waterway, navigation security and supervision
4. Digitalization and intelligent technology of shipping service
5. Maritime safety technology related to intelligent shipping
6. Green low-carbon sustainable development technology related to intelligent shipping
Ⅱ.Requirements of soliciting papers
1. They should be submitted in English, and the academic paper presentations at the conference should be in English.
2. They must be a high-quality and unpublished work, free of academic misconduct and multiple submissions.
3. They are divided into two steps: soliciting abstracts and soliciting full papers. The abstract should be 200-500 words, and the full text should be 3000-6000 words, and the format should be uniform (see attachment).
III. Collection and publication of papers
The shortlisted papers will be included in the conference proceedings, and will be recommended for publication in famous international/domestic journals and their supplements included in EI.
IV. Timeline of soliciting papers
1. Deadline for abstract submission: June 30, 2023
2. Deadline for full-text submission: August 15, 2023
V. Submission channels
Authors should register on the website of the International Congress on Maritime Science and Technology 2023 and submit their papers (the website will be available by May 20).
