In order to continuously improve the popularization of science capacity of the CIN and strive for innovation, the popularization of nautical science working committee has carefully studied and formulated the key work plan for popularization of science in 2023, which has been deliberated and approved by the 42th Office Meeting of Directors of the Institute and is now distributed to you. The Secretariat will work with relevant units to actively organize and implement relevant work, with specific contents as follows:

Implement theOpinions on Further Strengthening the Popularization of Science and Technology in the New Eraof the Party Central Committee and the State Council. In order to expand the coverage of the national popularization of nautical science education bases, enhance the number of bases, and enrich the types of bases, a centralized declaration of bases will be carried out every quarter (Combination of centralized declaration and temporary acceptance of base application approval). |

According to the provisions ofMeasures for Management 0f Popularization of Nautical Science Education Bases of the CIN, the bases named for more than five years will be re-approved. |
Notification should be issued in September; Review in October to November; Results should be issued in December. |

Optimize the construction of “popularization of nautical science” publicity positions and further strengthen the influence of publicity |
Further improve the quantity and quality of the content of the “Popularization of Nautical Science” operating account on the “Popularization of Science in China” platform, guide more volunteers to become popularization of nautical science informants, guide more industry-related units and institutions to be stationed in the APP of Popularization of Science in China, and strengthen the power and role of self-media communication. |
