Announcement of Seven Major Scientific and Technological Issues in the Field of Navigation in 2022

In order to stimulate the enthusiasm of the majority of nautical science and technology workers to discover, refine and explore the scientific and technological problems in the field of navigation, reveal the development trend of nautical science and technology, guide the direction of scientific research and technological innovation in related industries, and promote the progress of nautical science and technology, in 2022, the Chinese Institute of Navigation(CIN) organized its member units, branches, local maritime institutes and vast scientific and technological workers to collect major scientific, engineering and technical problems and industrial technical problems in the field of navigation,which has received positive responses.
The initial problems collected involve many aspects such as intelligent manufacturing, electronic information, high-end equipment, earth science and engineering physics and other aspects. After organizing, summarizing, integrating and discussing with authoritative experts, seven major issues have been selected, including one frontier scientific issue, four engineering technical issues, and one industrial technical issue, which are now officially released. We encourage the majority of maritime scientific and technological workers to deepen the description of these issues, and encourage them to carry out research and exploration. In the process of deepening description and research exploration, you are welcome to keep in touch with the Secretariat of the institute or seek support for relevant information and stage results.
