Notice on the Official Launch of Magnetic Compass Calibration Information System

After the continuous efforts of the headquarters in the early stage, the development and internal system function testing of the magnetic compass calibration information system have been completed, and the system function requirements and operation results are good and meet the initial design requirements. At the same time, the system was opened for external testing in a hands-on environment. After the actual testing by the division administrators and the magnetic compass calibrator, as well as the feedback on the use of the new system, the system functions and operation performed well and met the actual use and initial design requirements. During this period, we completed the online training for the division administrators and magnetic compass calibrators in the actual operation of the system, and the training achieved good effect, meeting the initial training requirements for the new system.
At present, all the work is ready for the new system to go online. After fully soliciting the opinions of all divisions, and after the research by the leaders of the Institute, it is decided that the magnetic compass calibration information system will be officially launched on July 1, 2022.
Please pay special attention to the following:
- On June 30, the new system will be closed for one day and will not be open for testing. At the same time, all test data will be cleared to prepare for the official launch of the new system on July.
- Each division/station administrators are required to fill out and check the "Bank Account" and "Expense Management" setting information of your division/station, and delete the redundant test information filled in before to ensure the accuracy of the information after the new system is officially launched.
- Please stop using the original paper magnetic compass deviation table from the date when the new magnetic system officially launches. The magnetic compass calibration personnel can only use the new system to perform the magnetic compass calibration service and automatically generate the magnetic compass deviation table with QR code.
- Before the day when the new system is put into use, we should complete the relevant information and data of the original paper magnetic compass deviation table used by the magnetic compass calibration and continue to input them into the original "magnetic compass online filling system". In order to ensure the continuity and integrity of the historical data statistics of magnetic compass calibration for many years, the original "magnetic compass online filling system" will continue to run for a period of time until the data migration of the original "magnetic compass online filling system" is completed.
