All provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government of the People's Republic of China, the Department of Transport (Commission, Bureau), the Department of Science and Technology (Commission, Bureau), the Bureau of Transport, Science and Technology of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, COSCO Shipping Group, China Merchants Group, China Communications Construction Group, the transport industry associations, the Ministry of Transport's universities, the Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Science and Technology units directly under the Ministry of Transport.
According tothe Management Measures of National Transport Science Popularization Base(MOT and MOST, No. 73[2020], hereinafter referred to asthe Measures), the MOT and MOST have agreed to organize the application of national transport science popularization base in 2022, and the particulars are notified as follows.
I. Recommendation requirements
All recommending units are requested to strictly follow the requirements ofthe Measuresand organize the review and recommendation of the transport science popularization base within their own administrative regions, systems or units in accordance with the principles of openness, fairness and justice. In order to guarantee the high standard and quality of base construction, the number of bases recommended by provincial transport authorities and technology authorities should no more than four (national museums within the recommended jurisdictions don’t occupy the quota), the number of bases recommended by national bureau and industry institutes (associations) should not exceed three, the number of bases recommended by the MOT's maritime and salvage systems as well as COSCO Shipping Group, China Merchants Group and China Communications Construction Group should not exceed two, and the number of bases recommended by the units directly under MOT and MOST and the Ministry of Science and Technology and the universities jointly built by the Ministry of Transport shall not exceed 1 (the legal entities that have been recognized as bases will not be recommended for application).
II. Application materials

Please organize relevant applicants to log in to the Science and Technology Management Information System of the Ministry of Transport and fill in the basic information, and upload the complete Application Form of The National Science and Technology Base of Transport (Word version). The application form can be downloaded from the relevant column of "Technology management Information System of the Ministry of Transport" (http://219.143.235.48/jt).
2. Materials submission. The submitted materials include: (1) signed and stamped paper version of the application form and its attached documentation; (2) PPT presentation materials for applying for national transport science popularization base (automatically play a voice narration within 5 minutes); (3) live video of typical science popularization activities (within 5 minutes).
III. Submission time and requirements
1. The submission deadline is 21 March, 2022 (subject to the date of posting);
2. Electronic application materials should be stored on CD-ROM or other mobile storage media, and sent to application accepting unit together with the paper application materials in duplicate.
