Publicity of Award-winning Projects of Science and Technology Award of China Institute of Navigation (Prize for Progress in Nautical Science and Technology/ Award for Invention in Nautical Technology)in 2021
The evaluation meeting of China Institute of Navigation for Science and Technology Award (Prize for Progress in Nautical Science and Technology/Award for Invention in Nautical Technology ) in 2021 was held on October 30 to 31, 2021 in a combined online and offline manner. The evaluation results formed by the evaluation committee in accordance with the relevant regulations, methods and procedures have been deliberated and approved by the 29th Office Meeting of Directors of China Institute of Navigation. Now the evaluation results are publicized.
1. China Institute of Navigation received a total of 120 recommended declaration projects in 2021. After a formal examination over the completeness, standardization and authenticity of the application materials before the meeting, a total of 111 applications were approved, including 105 applications for Prize for Progress in Nautical Science and Technology and 6 applications for Award for Invention in Nautical Technology.
2. Reviewed by the professional evaluation team and the evaluation committee of CIN, the results are as follows: There are 1 special prize, 14 first prizes, 57 second prizes, 21 third prizes, 10 deferred evaluation and 2 will not be awarded for Navigation Science and Technology Award. And there are 1 special prize, 1 first prize and 4 second Award for Invention in Nautical Technology. The list of award-winning projects is shown in the attachment.
3. The evaluation for Science and Technology Award of CIN accepts social supervision and implements institution of demurral. Any objections to the projects, achievements and performance of the authors and organizations and the innovation, advancement, practicality, intellectual property rights of completed projects, results, performance and the authenticity of the recommended materials, including objections to the rank of persons and organizations who complete the projects, etc. should be submitted in written form within 30 days from the date of the announcement of the projects (publicity period: November 15 to December 14, 2021) to CIN Secretariat for review. In order to facilitate verification and ensure the objective and impartial treatment, objections should be made in writing and indicate the true identity of the units or individuals, to provide effective contact information and the necessary evidential materials. If objections were raised in the name of the individual, he or she must sign the real name, work unit, contact telephone, address details and handwritten signature on the written objection materials; If objections were raised in the name of the unit, the written objection materials must indicate the name of the unit, contact person, contact information and stamped with the official seal of the unit. Any objection of anonymous, impersonation or beyond the time limit shall not be accepted.
Upon the expiration of the publicity period, the projects with no objections or objections that are not recognized shall be announced as official award-winning projects.
