Notice on Submission of 2021 the Key Work Plan of the Marine Science Popularization Education Baseto the China Institute of Navigation
To the navigation education bases of China Institute of Navigation (referred to as CIN),
All education bases please make arrangement of the popular science activities plan in 2021 according to the China institute of navigation Marine popular science education base management method "(hereinafter referred to as the" management method "), in order to enhance the education ability of each base, coordinate the deployment of education activities throughout 2021, guide more power industry to participate in and support the popular science work, and promote the sustainable and robust development. Activities during the National Science and Technology Week, China Navigation Day, and National Science Day should be highlighted. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:
I. Scope of submission
47 qualified navigation popularization education bases named by CIN (see Annex1)
II. Contents of submission
1. Plans for education activities in 2021
(1) The arrangement of National Science and Technology Week (the 3rd week of May), National Day for Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (May 12th), National Science Workers’ Day (May 30th), China Navigation Day (July 11th), National Science Education Day (3rd week of September) and other national activities plans should be submitted.
(2) The arrangement of regular or emergency education activities, which should include the theme, time, place, number of activities, the number of participants, etc.
2. the proposed amount of this year's science popularization funds and the arrangement for their use.
3. Education products, including the compilation and publication of books, videos, and holding relevant exhibitions.
4. Education volunteers and the plan of providing voluntary education service.
(1) The number of volunteers to be recruited, service content, working hours, etc.
(2) The plan of building a team of education experts.
III. Submission requirements and other information.
1. All the education bases are requested to attach importance to and cooperate seriously with this plan. In the meantime, the feature of the activities should be highlighted.
2. CIN will do on-site investigation and inspection to the bases selectively based on the implementation quality of the key work blueprints and the annual activities of the bases. (the specific time will be noticed later)
3. According to the newly revisedMeasures(see Annex 2), CIN will carry out the annual assessment of the navigation education bases around mid-December 2021 (see Annex 3 for the assessment indicators). Meanwhile, the assessment results will directly affect the qualifications of the bases.
4. Please submit the materials above with the official seal (PDF version) and word version of the materials above to the designated contact email address before March 31, 2021. The file name should be Base Name + Contact Person + Mobile Phone Number.
