The evaluation of CIN Science and Technology Advancement Award/Technological Innovation Award (CIN Science and Technology Award) has been accomplished in early December. The evaluation results have been publicized in accordance with the prescribed procedures. Now 92 awarded projects such as “set key technology and engineering application of high-head large vertical ship lift” are approved to be publicized as winning projects in 2020 (list in Appendix 1 and 2). Related issues are hereby notified as follows.
Ⅰ. Projects recommendation
In accordance with the relevant provisions of the science and technology award system of the Chinese Society of Navigation, the projects that have won the first prize or above shall be submitted by the Chinese Society of Navigation to the China Association for Science and Technology, the Ministry of Transport and other competent departments for inclusion in the candidate projects of the National Science and Technology Award.
Ⅱ. Achievements promotion
In order to strengthen the publicity, promotion and commercialization of scientific and technological achievements, the first unit of each winning project is required to prepare the "Brief Introduction of the Award-winning Project" and the "Statistical Table of the 2020 Award-winning Project" and submit one copy of paper materials, electronic documents or USB flash disk to our organization in 10 days .
Ⅲ. CIN will issue award certificates during this year’s China Maritime Day activities after receiving the award project profiles submitted by awarded units (format in Appendix 3, paper size A4, 4 imitation song dynasty style typeface word, about 1200 characters, a page to finish) and the Statistics Sheet of 2020 Awarded Projects (format in Appendix 4) (in principle, the unit and individual award certificates will be sent to the first completing unit and distributed by the first completing unit to all participating units and completers). The approach to award reception will be notified later.
Each winning project unit may, according to its own situation and with reference to the relevant regulations on science and technology awards, award prize money to the winners as a way of encouragement.
