Notice on Collection of Exhibition of 2020 Maritime Science & Technology Achievements of CIN

All units concerned,
The Second Plenary Session of the Ninth Council & 2020 Academic Annual Conference are scheduled to hold in Guangzhou on November 16-17 by CIN, the Exhibition of 2020 Maritime Science & Technology Achievements will be done at the same time as to serve the implementation of the strategy of building China's strength in transportation and shipping, promote the sound development of maritime science and technology. Now projects and achievements are collected from all units concerned.
Ⅰ. Exhibition arrangement
Time: 9:00-17:00, November 16-17, 2020
Place: Taipei Hall, 4F of Guangzhou Huaju Grand Hotel
Form:
Based on the exhibition site, all projects will be displayed on exhibition boards with a uniform size of 1.2 meters wide and 2.3 meters high. The content of projects should be concise, highlighting key points, illustrated with text, within 800 words, 4-5 pictures (size of 8M or over). Except for the board, CIN will produce color books matched with the board. The books will be sent to leaders and guests attending the meeting, within the limit of less than 1,000 words and 2-3 pictures for each achievement in books.
CIN leaders and guests will attend the opening ceremony of the exhibition, to be held at 9:00-9:30 a.m. on November 16. Each exhibitor is allowed to arrange one related person to introduce projects as to report more specifically and vividly, and communicate profoundly and directly.
Fees: For each board plus achievement color book 12,000 RMB are charged (including the cost of boards and books, and the production of which are provided by CIN. The boards and content of the book will be publicized free of charge on CIN’S website or Wechat official account).
Ⅱ. Projects limitation
1. The winnerof the second prize or above of the Science and Technology Award of the CIN in the last two years;
2. Those who have been included in major scientific & technology innovation tank of Ministry of Transport, with a certain product form and market promotion and application prospects;
3. The projects, not conform to the first two conditions, but recognized as a significant innovation and breakthrough or sound prospects for application and excellent demonstration after the unit application and CIN’s evaluation, can also be accepted.
Ⅲ. Way of Application
Welcome all units conforming to conditions above to apply for the exhibition. Participating units are requested to e-mail the application (details in the appendix) to the Secretariat of CIN (see annex) before October 30, 2020, and submit the content of the exhibition board and color book of projects.As for the details about the exhibition, further contact will be made upon receiving application.
