To strengthen the resistance of maritime navigation equipment to cyber-attacks and to promote ship electronic equipment and service suppliers to provide a secure and reliable maritime cyber-environment, Comité International Radio-Maritime, a member of International Association of Institutes of Navigation, released two publications in February 2020,Codes of Practice on Cyber-Risk for Suppliers of Marine Electronic Equipment and Servicesand Codes of Practice - Implementation Guide GL-002. The former consists mainly of six guiding principles, while the latter is a recommendation for the implementation of codes of practice.
