CIN 2017 Calls for ANC Papers
CIN〔2017〕No.40
The Asia Navigation Conference (ANC) was jointly sponsored by the China Institute of Navigation (CIN), the Japan Institute of Navigation and the Korean Institute of Navigation and Port Research. After 15 years of communication and interaction, the conference not only has enhanced the interaction between the host countries, but also attracted Asia-wide attention. In order to continuously promote the development and progress of Asia navigation technology, it was decided at the presidium meeting of ANC2016 that the Asia Navigation Conference in 2017(ANC2017) would be held in Zhanjiang, Guangdong Province, from November 23-25, 2017, and would be specifically hosted by Guangdong Ocean University. CIN welcomes scholars who are engaged in navigation research and interested in related fields to actively participate in solicitation activities. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:
I. Conference Date: November 23-25, 2017
Venue: Zhanjiang, Guangdong Province
II. Essay Theme
The theme of the conference is “Intelligence and Information of Navigation”. The official language is English. Candidates are supposed to write on the following (but not limited to) topics:
Navigation Technology and Vessel Management;
Safety of Navigation and Environmental Protection;
Vessel Communication and Maritime Information;
Automatic Control and Intelligent Application;
Cargo Handling and Logistics;
Seafarers’ Education and Training;
Shipping Regulations and Maritime Supervision;
Ship Pilotage and Salvage.
Ⅲ. Important Deadlines
Submission date of title and abstract : June 23, 2017
Notification on admission of abstract: July 28, 2017
Submission date of full paper : August 25, 2017
Notification on final acceptance: October 13, 2017
Ⅳ. Registration and Payment
The official representative registration fee is $200, and the student representative registration fee is $100. Registration fee includes collected papers (electronic version); lunch and refreshments for two days during the meeting; welcome banquet.
