CIN Calls for 2020 Academic Papers

In response to the national call to build a maritime and transportation power and actively promote the academic development of the maritime industry, CIN (hereinafter referred to as the "group") plans to hold an annual academic conference during the 2020 China Maritime Day and is currently ready to receive excellent academic papers in 2020. The relevant matters are notified as follows:

I. Scope of Topic Selection

(1) Safety technology for ship navigation;

(2) Communication & navigation technology and its development;

(3) Operation and energy-saving technologies for ships and port equipment;

(4) Environmental protection in navigation areas and the prevention and control of ship pollution ;

(5) Development and utilization of inland waterway and coastal navigation resources;

(6) Maritime search and rescue and diving salvage technology;

(7)Shipping economy development and ship operation management ;

(8) Human resources management and occupational psychology of the crew;

(9) Research on international and domestic maritime laws and regulations;

(10) Other contents related to navigation science and technology.

II. Relevant requirements for paper collection

(1) In order to strengthen the construction of academic ethics and style and maintain a good academic atmosphere, it is required that the contribution papers are original unpublished works with mature texts, without academic misconduct and multiple submissions. The group will strictly implement the review system and accept supervision and reporting from all walks of life. Those who violate the regulations and cause adverse effects will be noticed to the industry and recorded.

(2) Contributors should edit the thesis in accordance with the "Requirements for Essays Format " (shown in Annex 1).

(3) It is sincerely hoped that all relevant units actively organize and recommend scientific research and professionals to participate in the essay collection activities, and encourage provincial and municipal local navigation societies to assist in the development of essay collection activities in the region in accordance with the notification requirements and submit them to the Secretariat.

(4) March 27, 2020 is the deadline for the collection of papers. Please send the electronic version of you paper and the 2020 registration form (see Annex 2) to the mailbox designated by the secretariat before the deadline, and follow the group's website (//www.stickemin.com/) notification bulletin board and WeChat public account to query progress and follow-up notice.

III. Selection and Processing of Papers

In accordance with the relevant requirements for the "Review Method for Excellent Papers of CIN", the group will select and recommend the submissions as follows:

(1) The Academic Exchange Department of this group will register, classify, preliminary review and check the submissions;

(2) The papers that have passed the preliminary review will be submitted to the relevant professional committees of this group for review, and the papers shortlisted by the expert committee will be determined based on the selection and recommendation of the professional committees;

(3) The group organizes an expert review panel to select the annual excellent papers from the shortlisted papers;

(4) With the author's consent, the excellent papers will be included in the "China Maritime Science and Technology Excellent Thesis Collection (2020)" and officially published.
