Ministry of Transport of the People's Republic of China(MOT) has issued aGuideline On Strengthening The Quality And Safety Supervision And Management Of Road Construction And Waterway Projects(hereinafter referred to as “Guideline”), aims to implement the decisions and plans about quality and safety of CPC Central Committee and the State Council, and builds high quality projects, completely enhances such projects including highway extension and waterway infrastructure projects under the new reform in which examination, approval, certification or filing should be in accordance with the law.

We will work diligently to seek the refined and high-quality management, build a quality and safety management system for modern projects. Through those ways, we can improve initiatives’ security, firmness and quality of service, create top-grade facilities and move faster to build a country with great transport strength.

Guideline also put forward implementation regulations in four levels: strengthening the supervision responsibility for projects‘s quality and safety, fully implementing enterprises’ quality in production responsibility, and in all fields creating a stronger foundation for projects’ safety management, and then release detailed measures.
