Recently, seven offshore engineering vessels of three types—45-meter WUV, 45-meter MUV and 58-meter AHTS— started to be built by Wuchang Ship Building Industry Group Co., Ltd. (Wuchuan Group) at Shuangliu base, casting a beam of sunlight into the current bleak shipbuilding market.
Respectively, the seven offshore engineering vessels are Offshore Shallow Water Work Utility Vessels, Offshore Multi Utility Vessels as well as Anchor Handling Tug Supply Vessels, the design and construction of which are subject to the current applicable rules and regulations of American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) and are to be inspected accordingly.
Since signing the contract, Wuchuan Group has carried out active coordination and communication with ship owners and different sectors, making thorough preliminary plans and rigorously controlling the nodes in detailed design and production design.
