Recently, the Chinese Academy of Engineering announced the list of newly elected academicians in 2021, and awarded two scientists, Hu Ya’an from Nanjing Institute of Water Resources Science and Research, Ministry of Water Resources and Transport, National Energy Administration, and Lin Ming from China Communications Construction Company Limited, the title of “Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering”.
From 2002 to 2020, Hu Ya’an has won seven special and first-class awards of science and technology from the China Institute of Navigation (CIN), and one second prize of national scientific and technological progress and one second prize of technical invention after the declaration of the winning projects; the first national innovation award in 2017 nominated by CIN; the outstanding person of scientific and technological contribution of CIN in 2019; the 13th Guanghua Engineering Award of the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2020.
Lin Ming, an academician, has won 8 special and first-class awards for science and technology from CIN from 2016 to 2019, and has been nominated by CIN to receive the Outstanding Contribution to Science and Technology of CIN in 2019.
