To ensure the normal supply of the global supplies, the seafarers shuttle across the vast sea, silently suffering loneliness and hardship. They have to bear more psychological pressure than the people of other professions due to their long-term working and living at sea, and they even shoulder a difficult mission as the "Key post" to ensure the normal operation of the national economy (IMO designated the theme of this year as "Seafarers Are Key Workers"), especially in the face of the novel coronavirus outbreak.
On June 18th, 2020, Shanghai Maritime Rescue Volunteers, together with Shanghai Nautical Society, recorded a series of promotional videos for seafarers’ psychological counseling in order to reduce the their mental burden, relieve their psychological pressure and improve the level of the safe operation of the ships.

During the shoot of the film, Yuling Liu, a professional psychological consultant (the founder of Shanghai Caifan Psychological Consultation and the researcher of SE body experience trauma treatment) was invited to show the seafarers several methods of body sensation healing, including : breathing exercise, patting exercise, Renshen exercise and group adjustment that can be interactive among the people.
Love is the solution to all problems.
We'd like to express our thanks to Captain Yao Lu of Shanghai Jinjiang Shipping Group and Mr. Zhou Jiayi for their support.
