On March 23,2017, the Secretary General Work Conference of CIN was held in Beijing. Huang Youfang, Chairman of CIN, Wang Qun, Secretary General of CIN, and Gu Weiguo, Deputy Secretary General of CIN participated in the conference. Others attending the conference included the leaders and Secretary Generals of the 22 branches of CIN and navigation institutes of 18 cities and provinces. The meeting was chaired by Cao Di, Executive Vice Chairman of CIN.
OVice Chairman Cao Di first conveyed the speech content given by Shang Yong, the secretary of Chinese Association for Science and Technology (CAST), at the National Society Academic Conference, emphasizing the relevant spirits on academic development and reform deepening. Then Secretary General Wang Qun made an introduction and assignment to the annual key tasks of CIN in 2017.
Next, the representatives from the Lock Professional Committee of CIN , the RS Professional Committee, Hunan Navigation Institute and Shandong Navigation Institute were invited to make typical speeches and share their experience.
During the group discussion, the Secretary Generals and representatives of CIN branches as well as the provincial and municipal Institutes of Navigation analyzed the current situation, opportunities and difficulties faced by CIN around the topic about its comprehensive construction and development, discussing the approaches to the reform deepening, innovation and development, and also bringing up numerous constructive suggestions on how to realize the resources integration and speed up mutual development. The participants spoke enthusiastically and warmly. The conference was compact, highly prominent and fruitful.
Chairman Huang Youfang made a concluding statement. He emphasized that community organization was playing an increasingly important role, setting aside a lot more space for its growing. It is a favorable trend meeting the overall political environment and social development demand and also is a rare historical opportunity during its development. Organizations should adapt themselves to the requirements of transformation and development, achieving self-improvement through both inheritance and innovation to advance development and learn to progress with strength and performance.
Chairman Hunag Youfang also inspired that, CIN needed to take advantage of this historical opportunity and struggle for self-breakthrough under the leadership of national policy, acclimatizing itself to the transition tide of industrial integration, and follow the trend of market interconnection, so as to make itself a pride of who works for it.
